WHY?

Business Problem

The organizational challenge revolves around the inefficacy of the current food safety management system, which comprises a lengthy 30-page written document. This document fails to adequately facilitate understanding among employees, resulting in low comprehension and minimal transfer of knowledge to everyday tasks. Addressing this issue necessitates the development of a more accessible and engaging digital learning solution tailored to the diverse learning styles and practical requirements of employees, thereby enhancing comprehension, retention, and application of food safety protocols.

Learning Gap

The learning gap arises from the disparity between the current food safety management system, which is a lengthy written document resulting in low comprehension and application, and the desired level of understanding and compliance required by employees. This gap manifests as inadequate knowledge transfer and adherence to food safety protocols, posing risks to consumer health and regulatory compliance.

To bridge the learning gap, all employees will focus on mastering Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) such as Remembering, Understanding, and Applying food safety principles. Meanwhile, managers will delve into Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), emphasizing Analysis and Evaluation of these principles. This ensures comprehensive understanding and effective application across all levels of the organization.
